Hello I'm Hansel, and for everyone out there with an evil stepmother, listen up! I do not want you to get in the same trouble my sister and I did! I will teach you the red flags to look out for so you do not get killed. Let's get started!
First things first, do not follow your EVIL stepmother into the dark wood! A huge no-no. If you must follow her, bring a few rocks along with you, but do not use bread because birds will end that plan real quick. And please, do not fall asleep in the woods. The reason speaks for itself....
Second, do not trust houses made of candy! If it's too good to be true, it is not for your good. They do not even make sense! Their delicious appearance is just a disguise for the pure evil inside! No matter how hungry you are, do not eat anything from the house. Eat it and you're dead. The witch uses her candy house to lure people in just so she can eat them for their goods.
Third, if you make it through everything, congratulations, but you are not done yet! You will come across a river (there is always a river...). The trials of the witches house will have changed you physically and morally. You may be a bit heavy for the animals wanting to help you, so be careful! After you cross the river, you have matured enough to go back to your house to face your evil stepmother!
You will be surprised when you get home because she will be dead.... so you wont have to do anything!! Your old shack of a house will be changed in your eyes because even though it is just a shack, you know the inside is filled with your father's love and care, so your house is beautiful on the inside! With these tips and tricks, you and your sibling should be prepared for whatever comes your way! Good luck!
